Affordable HDV camera

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering what your input might be on a fairly low-end but sturdy HDV camera. I use a DVX100 for most of my work. It's my main camera and I use it's XLR inputs a lot. I'm looking for a b-roll camera and I want an HDV camera. Tim;
Are you still interested in helping Thomas and I work on Suland? The American pioneers who become Adventist after they endure the war? I haven't heard from you for a long time. I am working on the screen play now and Thomas is looking for cash-flow. Are you a producer as well? That you could help find money? Or too busy now?

I did some research on the HC1 vs the Canon HV20 and ended up using the Canon HV20 on a doc project in Thailand. I liked it. Worked well. It also had manual controls for audio and exposure that typically weren't advertised. It also has a 24f mode. The HV20 however is probably not the camera for narrative work involving lots of manual focus work.
