Commissioned by the Oasis Christian Center as a spoof of the film "The Blair Witch Project" this short had its one and only showing on October 30th, 1999. It was shown as a lead-in to a sermon titled "The Real Blair Witch."

Principle filming was done in sequence on the Sunday prior to its premiere. Filmed with a Sony TVR 9 and a TVR 8. Sound was recorded with the built-in camera mics (it's amazing we got anything usable). Edited on a Blue-and-White Apple G3 using Media 100 5.5.

Post production was done after-hours during the rest of that week. The final credits took place between 12 Midnight and 4 A.M. No ketchup was harmed in the making of this film. Although the Linkette didn't fare too well.

NOTE: Should you at any time perceive anything resembling a plot in this film, rest assured that it is a figment of your imagination.

I must admit that I have never seen "The Blair Witch" myself. With the possible exception of the screenwriter, I don't believe anyone in the cast or on the crew had seen the film although we had all heard of it and understood the basic plot.

The credits seem to be the fan favorite. Strange what creative ideas one has at two o'clock in the morning when you haven't slept much for three days.
